ComVida Employee Management System 4.2.1.7

ComVida is very pleased to announce that EMS 4.2.1.7 is now ready for release.

Payroll SPRs

#1019 – The T4 Summary now tallies the Other Information Boxes by Box number under the required T4 Summary amounts. Note: these additional totals are for your information only; they are not included when uploading to CRA.

#1378 – ROE Export now includes a dropdown list of current Service Canada Box 16 Reasons for issuing the ROE. The Tool also now has the last day Paid and a dropdown selection of Pay Period types.

#1739 – ROE Export has been updated to the new Service Canada Format. For more information, please visit the Service Canada website.

#1593 – The Yukon Provincial Tax now includes the K4P calculation for the Yukon Employment credit.

#1616 – The T4A now includes a prompt for an employee Business number field. This is optional.

Scheduling SPRs

#1746 – Shift values (hours) are now able to accept +/- 999.99 for entering values.

#1635 – Shift Handle Overtime check will now use the Override Hours to verify the OT rules for the employee.

#1744 – Operators that only need to process/reprocess time swipes will no longer need access to Company Settings as well.

#1793 – When two employees are concurrently creating Notifications each Notification will be saved with the next available ID number. A message will appear stating the new Notification Number when saved after the concurrently made Notification is saved. Click OK to clear the message.

#1796 – The Global Generation will no longer create a single shift when the Rotation Assignment has the same Start and End date.

Personal Pages SPRs

#1728 – Custom Reports are now supported. Please contact the Helpdesk for further information.

Human Resources SPRs

#1738 – Current Value pages will consistently maintain entered and non-entered values instead of forcing the user to enter a value.

#1724 – Current Value pages will correctly refresh to show the selected employee when changing employees with the Search function.

HSCIS Extract SPRs

#1630 – If the employee’s “Increment” is blank, the tool will pick up the last character of the Position Code when the last character of the Position Code is 0-9 or R.

#1686 – The wage rate check for Designation Group E will allow for wages greater than one hundred dollars. Again, for Designation Group E, for wage amounts greater than one thousand dollars the tool will return a wage rate of zero.

#1720 – The Total OT column will only populate if the other OT Columns are zero.

#1737 – The HSCIS Extract will now accept 100 characters as the legal name.

CSSEA Extract SPRs

#1737 – The CCSEA Extract will now accept 100 characters as the legal name.
